hi, sounds like a good project to support so I tried to pledge and the
fundable site came back with an error:

Your payment did not go through The following problem occurred:
Transaction ended prematurely. [my paypal account][]

This may indicate that

 * your credit card number is not valid.
 * your credit card's expiration date is not valid.
 * your billing address is not valid or does not match the credit
card you entered.

Please try again using one of the following payment methods:

- the amount showed up in my paypal account ok though (as pending
transaction as expected), but sounds like it didn't complete at
fundable. I have an Australian paypal account. does fundable only work
with US ones? my paypal works ok - used it successfully yesterday so I
don't think it's a problem with my account/credit card. is fundable
looking for a US credit card number range perhaps?

anyone else having a problem?
cheers
Kath

cheers. I'll try that. I sent an email to fundable also. maybe there
was a server problem at the time.

I'd e-mail Jay directly. He can probably login to fundable directly and
check if your donation got recorded propery or not.

Don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but do contributors get any
kind of public recognition for contributing? That could provide a nice
incentive for people to want to chip in. The original work would still
belong to the creator, but the financers would at least get some props.

This is a great point Jonny. I wonder if the content producers would be opposed to mention those who contributed in their credits? On 5/27/06, jonny goldstein
