[videoblogging] Spam from Veoh?
I've been on the receiving end of several unsolicited e-mails from Veoh this week, with no obvious way to opt out. I never registered at their web site, so I consider these repeated messages to be spam, pure and simple. if Veoh wants my videos, this is a terrible way for them to go about convincing me to work with them. has anyone else had a similar experience? cheers, - Jared -- Happiness is a warm laptop. Re: [videoblogging] Spam from Veoh?
Me too, more than one. They're starting to show up in my Gmail spam folder already. This is because the Members list is viewable by all members of the group. 1200 targeted email addresses, waiting to be mined. Veoh folks: Please stop. That's an abuse of the list, and I'm pretty sure it's a TOS violation with Yahoo! Cut it out-- you don't want to alienate your 1200 best leads. I think the welcome message for this group should probably be updated to let the more commercially-minded know that this is not acceptable. --Stephanie On 8/19/05, Anders Clerwall [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: On 8/19/05, Markus Sandy [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: same here I've gotten one as well. -- Stephanie Bryant [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.mortaine.com SPONSORED LINKS Individual Fireant Explains YAHOO!
