[videoblogging] channelfrederator.com

2005-11-09 Thread Jack Nelson
I haven't seen this mentioned here, so I thought I'd post it. Anyone out there
making
cartoons? Channelfrederator.com is soliciting cartoons to be shown on the web.
They will
make an ipod ready videocast/vlog that will be published once a week. Free to
download.
Authors retain the ownership and rights. Here is a bit from the site:

Filmmakers Do you want your cartoon(s) delivered directly into the hands of
millions of
cartoon fans worldwide? Submitting is free and easy, and - if we love your
short - your
work will be included in a Channel Frederator episode along with some of the
world's
other top animated films. If that's not enough, you'll keep all the rights and
retain
complete ownership of your work.

Cartoon Fans Subscribe to Channel Frederator now. It's free and easy, and
each week
you'll get a fresh new 10- to 15-minute episode featuring some of the hippest
animation
on Earth.

About Frederator Studios We're the folks who originally gave you tons of
cartoons
including The Fairly OddParents, ChalkZone, My Life as a Teenage Robot, Johnny
Bravo,
Dexter's Laboratory, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Cow and Chicken, The PowerPuff
Girls,
and many, many more. And now we're giving you even more shorts that we're
hoping are
just as cool and just as funny.

Why all this? We really love cartoons and the people who make them. Because
of our day
job, we see lots of excellent stuff that never gets seen by most people.
Channel Frederator
gives all cartoons a shot at being shown to the wired world's masses. And if we
can spread
the love - or at least spread something - then we will.

Who picks what gets aired? We do. Then you vote on each short. Then we try to
pick
better next time.
