[videoblogging] video editing software for news type podcast
Hi videobloggers, Can anyone recommend video editing software for a news bulletin style show? Something that can put in a backdrop and have upper corner pictures added in, all that newsy stuff? If you are on PC you can use vegas - 'track motion' easily does the picture in picture stuff. Green screen compositing is pretty easy too. Scrolling text not so much so. Is free small enough? Try using Windows MovieMaker before dropping a dime on other software. Then hit up the free trial of Sony Vegas for 30 days. Rather than try the full version of Vegas I would suggest the consumer version .. I'm generally pretty happy with Video Edit Magic. I also use the consumer version of Sony Vegas. I have an old copy of Premiere that I go back to from time to time. I have an old copy of Main Actor that is nice. (Main Actor 5 is not so great.) I use Windows Movie Maker a lot. I use the free wmv tools from microsoft and numerous other free tools that I find at www.videohelp.com Does anyone here use AVIsynth?
