RE: [videoblogging] Looking for topics on teaching about social media
Thanks Sean - Actually, Howard Greenstein from NYU (and Social Media Club fame) is also helping with some of the content of the class - and in particular the social media aspect of it. And - the first day of class will be on discussing what is Web 2.0 - and I will be videotaping the class - and crafting the class into segments for people to watch via a vLog from Cooper sometime in the near future. We are working on building a quick-and-dirty development shop to craft these educational videos for others to view afterward. Thanks for the help. Not just the technical details, but what about design principles and user concerns? It is the intent of the course to give the students an experience of building a product/service that is user-centric rather than engineering-centric (love of technology instead of solving the problem). Videoblogging might not sound like a problem that needs to be solved, but maybe there is a way to expand their experiences... Thank you in advance for your feedback.
