Re: [Videolib] Have you seen an amazing video lately?
I am pretty sure this is not what you had in mind but definitely the most amazing video I have seen recently http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FtUlc0-6z8A On Fri, Apr 23, 2010 at 11:41 AM, Laura Jenemann ljene...@gmu.edu wrote: Not a feature film, but a video of a performance, an educational title, or a how-to, geared toward an adult audience. If so, we need your suggestions! If you are a librarian not affiliated with a video producer or distributor, you can suggest titles for the Notable Videos for Adults annual list. American Library Association's Video Round Table established this list in order to help librarians identify and select the best offerings in this video marketplace. [Videolib] FW: UConn Spring Weekend on Youtube
My place of employment if figured prominently in this The attached link is a music video made by Tom Haggerty and Lia Albini from USG as well as others. It is a pretty impressive production that features all of the key UConn landmarks in a promotion of the unsponsored aspects of Spring Weekend. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8O6Iq590nR8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8O6Iq590nR8 (Andy Samberg, eat your heart out!!) __ Chris McNevins | ACQUISITIONS COORDINATOR UNIVERSITY OF CONNECTICUT | HOMER BABBIDGE LIBRARY 369 Fairfield Way Unit 2005AM | Storrs, CT 06269-2005 USA PH: 860-486-3842 | FX: 860-486-6493 | EMAIL: chris.mcnev...@uconn.edu mailto:chris.mcnev...@uconn.edu Did I really earn this [Academy Award] or did I wear you all down? -- Sandra Bullock ___ VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. Re: [Videolib] The Swimmer in DVD?
It is out of print and apparently rare enough to get a premium price. Other than getting a cheaper used copy that are also available from third party sellers I don't know your options. I do notice it can be legally downloaded for $10 on Amazon but no idea if that will work for your situation. Obviously it won't if it is needed for a class.
