That IS interesting and it reminds me to ask, is it possible to purchase the 
original An American Family???  I know I've looked a few times and haven't been 
able to find it.

I've been on the Loud family mailing list for years...they keep promising
to put out the AF on DVD, but nothing as of yet.

We purchased a copy of this on DVD however, it is kept in our Fales Library  
Special Collections for viewing purposes only and cannot be checked out due to 
a special restrictions agreement with PBS.
