Does anyone have a clue about how to hook up a Brainstorm accelerator to a
Plus? I got one through eBay, but it looks like it requires some soldering.
I don't think that's quite my forte.

If you bought it from SunRem, it should have come with installation
instructions. At least, the five I bought from them a few months
back came with installation instructions. It does require soldering
though.

Where are you located? Perhaps one of the soldering enabled list
members is in your locale.

New email address for listmom

2005-10-12 Thread Dan Knight
Members of the 30 Low End Mac email lists:

I'm phasing out my listmom at lemlists email address because it gets
far more spam than all my other addresses combined. I've created a new
mailbox - [EMAIL PROTECTED] - for website and email list
correspondence. I'm in the process of updating links in the headers and
footers.

Reminder: Be sure to mention which list(s) you're on when
corresponding. With 30 lists, there's just no way I can dig through
them all looking for yor subscription.

Re: LCIII

2005-10-12 Thread willi
Hi!

If all else fails, send me the drive you're having a problem with and I'm
sure that I can get it working in an LC III. I've just finished upgrading the
hard drives in a couple of LC III units. I also have SCSI interfaces for an
IBM ThinkPad 760XL, a PowerBook 520c, an Amiga 3000 and a number of Apple II
models so I have a number of ways for testing SCSI drives.

See what NeroMAX can do.

http://www.ikebanadrive.com/download_library_frameset.htm

The site says it's an update to 1.68 but it's really
the full program, supports SCSI, IDE, USB and Firewire
burners. 'Course it only supports SCSI (and maybe IDE
for the few 68k Macs with it) on 68k. Works with any
CD-R/RW drive I've tried, none were from Ikebana.

NeroMAX appears to be a rework of B's Recorder, the
IDE and other extentions with it have B's in their
names. I've found it to be a better program than
Roxio for classic Mac OS.

It will be total Fandemonium!
