Well, today Verizon offers unlimited data.  Of course there are some caveats

This past weekend sprint jumped on the unlimited data band wagon, but theres 
doubles after a year, and it has to be a new customer.  T-mobile has theres, 
and taxes are already included.  Plus t-mobile removed the HD limitation on 
there unlimited data plan.  So whatever career you are with, you have some 
options.

I did find a setting under Accessibility/Keyboard/Hardware Keyboards that I was 
unaware of. It says Key Repeat, I set this to off and have had no more problems 
with repeated letters when typing.

year? I am pretty sure this will apply to other holidays also.

I do know that one of my calendar apps will do this, but can't really remember

outlook app formy iPhone

hi I have outlook 2016 on my computer.
So when I set up an account.
I would like bo put outlook on my phone as well.
So that if i get an e-mail on my computer I will get the same e-mail on 
my phone.
And then when I delete the e-mail from my phone or computer I would like 
it to also to delete from the other device as well.

so if I read it on the computer then delete it.
Then it will be gone from the phone as well.
And I would like to have the same contacts list as on my computer.
How do I make this all happen?
When I searched for outlook on my phone in the app store I seen A bunch 
of them so witch one do I need to look for.

Also my outlook 2016 will have A road runner address.
WI.rr.com will be the end of it.
So then can I get this same account on my phone as well or is it not A 
good idea to set it up this way?

Oh, I see. I'm not sure you can delete a DropVox recording in order to prevent 
its being uploaded to DropBox. But once it is uploaded, you can certainly 
delete it from within the DropBox app.

Gordon, 

Let me clarify how Dropvox works when pausing a recording. After launching the 
app, a single finger double tap will start the recording. A single finger 
triple tap will pause that recording with the elapsed time displayed on the 
screen in red. The next single finger double tap will begin recording again for 
that recording. You can continue to pause that recording by a single finger 
triple tap. Alternating between the single finger triple tap and single finger 
double tap will keep the same recording going. When you're ready to conclude 
the recording, follow the last single finger double tap with another single 
finger double tap. The recording will then be stopped and saved to your device 
until it is uploaded to Dropbox.

had a way to restart a recording. this app is perfect if you're in the 
media and need to record a live report and get it back to the station 
quickly.

you can go through amazon to get the low-cost pencil. you can havemulticolor or 
one color. 

sieghard, sometimes some stores and some shops do have ipad and they need 
fingers to sign names, and sometimes easier for some blind to use pencils if 
thye carry and it owudl be nice for them to use pencil to sign. 

I don’t really use it much as I did order one form amazone for just fifteen 
dollars vs. apple pencil which costs 50 dollars.

I highly doubt the Apple Pencil would be a very useful item for a blind user. I 
have never seen much discussion on the list about it hence assume it is not 
something people have bought. I think it is useful for sighted users who do a 
lot of drawing and maybe use technical programs for designing things, 
blueprints etc. It would probably be a waste of money.

The Apple Pencil is a fancy name for the styless you can buy to use in together 
with an iPad pro. If you have an iPad Pro you can do various things with this 
thing although I am not sure if it is of much use for a blind person. I don’t 
think it adds any functionality to the iPhone at this point or to older iPads. 
If you Google it or read the descriptions on the Apple website you probably get 
more detailed information. Steve Jobbs probably turned over in his grave when 
they first introduced this because when the iPhone and iPad first came out he 
always made a big deal out of how you don’t need a styless for these and how he 
just couldn’t understand why anybody would want such a thing.

You get what you pay for (or not). I doubt you'll find any free streaming 
services which allow you to download music for off-line listening. Apart 
from that the biggest by subscribers is still Spotify with I think around 30 
million subscribers, then comes Apple Music with I think 17 million 
subscribers. Considering that it's only been available for a year and a half 
that is pretty impressive and their huge catalogue plus some exclusitivity 
on certain popular artists will probably mean they continue to grow nicely.

Apple may not be what it once was, but then again no company can continue to 
knock everybody off their socks year afdter year with new innovations once a 
product begins to mature and smartphones are, after 10 years, not cutting 
edge technology any more. Yet look at Apples sales figures for their first 
quarter of the fiscal year which is the October, November and December 
period and they blew all expectations away. Everybody in the tech press 
bitches about the iPhone 7, but they sold more of the 7 Plus iPhones than 
ever and overall more iPhone 7 and 7 Plus than ever. Sure Android has a 
larger market share when it comes to the platform, but nobody can deny that 
Apple still is thesinglemost successful and profitable company in the 
smartphone world and this is a major reason why Apple Music is doing so 
well, people who have an iPhone and maybe also an Apple TV simply are more 
likely to subscribe to Apple Music especially since the family plan for 
$14.99 a month is the best deal in town, you can add up to 6 people on that 
plan so this works out to $2.50 per person per months and each person can 
upload their own music, download their own music and get their own 
personalized recommendations etc.

DirecTV now Iphone app -- how to work with the guide

OK, the only reason I even have this app is the 35.00 promo...which
you have for life!  If you cancel you can't get the promo back, and
that sucks.  I'm not much of a TV watcher, but enough about me, lets
get to the good stuff.

When you first open the app,  you are presented with a list of seasons
and episode titles and "play" buttons that are dimmed  out.  Getting
the titles of the shows through flicking, even in the guide is for
now, a pain in the rear. The networks tab also appears to be entirely
inaccessible.  Press the guide button...you'll see two sections
(exploring by touch.) The left bottom half of the screen shows you a
list of networks.  On the right bottom half of the screen you see the
corresponding show titles and episode titles.  The problem is...you
only get three networks on the bottom left at a time. you'll see the
initial 3 networks and the shows on the right.  If your looking at the
bottom right,  you can't do the 3-fingler swipe up gesture--it won't
scroll for you. The trick is to go back to the left side of networks
then do your swipe up to se more shows.  So its left for networks,
right for shows...then back left, and swipe up to reveal more titles.
Its confusing and its an absolutely crappy crappy crappy work-around,
but for those who got the good promo, this should work for you.

It works now that I rebooted the device. Others have said that when this 
happens to switch VoiceOver off and then back on again instead of always 
rebooting. I love it, I am using it with my 6th gen iPod and my Apple TV 4th 
gen. May try it with my PC too.

Were the batteries included? The only time I have ever seen that was when the 
batteries were going dead. A fresh set eliminated the issue. I have the K480 
and absolutely love using it with my iPhone 6S+, iPad Mini 4, and Apple TV 4. 
That dial is great for switching between the three devices.

I just got the Logitech K480 Bluetooth keyboard and I am having a problem. When 
I enter an edit field to type something, no matter what my typing mode is set 
to on my iPod, all my letters are duplicated? I have gone into 
keyboard/hardware keyboard and I don't see any way to fix this. Any ideas. It 
said it should have had a user namual included in the box, but there was not 
one. Is there something I am not doing right? This is totally new to me.
