This is a new to me, not new to the app store, Money Reader that was recently 
updated to include US dollars and British Pounds along with the Qatari Riyal.
The most exciting feature is its ability to count the money and give you a 
total with relative ease.
I did a short, 5 minute or so, demo that is link at the end of the 
description/details about the app.  Below is what is now on my Useful Apps page 
under Money Identification.


Qatari Money Reader, Free
The application features accessible notifications, providing users with the 
high degree of privacy protection required in such transactions, and 
contributing to an independent shopping experience for the visually impaired.
The Qatari Money Reader lets users collect and organize their notes and 
calculate the total value based on quick scans with a mobile phone. It tells 
the user the value of each note in either Arabic or English, facilitating cash 
transactions without depending on eyesight, visual assistance, or adequate 
viewing conditions.
The app can also detect different currencies. The reader identifies all Qatari 
riyal (QAR), US dollar (USD) and British pound sterling (GBP) notes using the 
phone's camera in real time and without having to connect to the Internet.
Should users need to convert currencies or comprehend the monetary value of a 
product or service, the app contains exchange-rate conversion, which was 
recently added to the app, to facilitate such processes. Additional features 
include a "detecting" mode that can differentiate genuine from fake notes under 
an external ultraviolet (UV) light are currently underway.

I'm not sure how they keep up the accuracy of the exchange rates since they 
don't connect to the internet, unless they do for that channel alone, I just do 
not know.

this problem with new people have messaged me. Or if I haven't opened up

And nor would I, Dennis, but I am in the habit of putting my phone on charge 
before going to bed and it was only after plugging it in, that the iPhone 
announced that it was already fully charged. As I’ve said previously, my main 
reason for upgrading was the poor battery life of my old iPhone when after a 
couple of hours of use, I was getting the low battery alert. Alison

If the phone is at 100% that means it is fully charged.  You do not need to 
plug it in.

The battery case I bought for my old 6SE fits the SE I bought earlier this 
week, although, in truth I don’t’ know if I’ll need it!

My main reason for upgrading was the poor battery life of my old iphone but 
last night I used it for at least two-and-a-half hours to read e-mails, do Duo 
Lingo lessons and read Facebook messages and yet when I plugged it in to 
re-charge, it was still reading one hundred per cent!

I don't think it's ever possible to delete an app from anywhere other than the 
App Store; it's just that apps can announce that an update is available so you 
can go to the store and download it.

What exactly is it asking you to update? You should carefully review what is 
being asked on the screen as it might have to do with something other than an 
actual app update. I don’t recall ever getting notified after opening an app 
that I should update the app.

And nor would I, Dennis, but I am in the habit of putting my phone on charge 
before going to bed and it was only after plugging it in, that the iPhone 
announced that it was already fully charged. As I’ve said previously, my main 
reason for upgrading was the poor battery life of my old iPhone when after a 
couple of hours of use, I was getting the low battery alert. Alison

If the phone is at 100% that means it is fully charged.  You do not need to 
plug it in.

The battery case I bought for my old 6SE fits the SE I bought earlier this 
week, although, in truth I don’t’ know if I’ll need it!

My main reason for upgrading was the poor battery life of my old iphone but 
last night I used it for at least two-and-a-half hours to read e-mails, do Duo 
Lingo lessons and read Facebook messages and yet when I plugged it in to 
re-charge, it was still reading one hundred per cent!
