RE: Is Anyone Using the Google Authenticator? or the Microsoft Authenticator?

2023-04-15 Thread M. Taylor
Hello Jonathan and Everyone,

First, let me thank all of you for confirming that the Microsoft authenticator
app is VoiceOver accessible. If ever I need a third-party app, I will
definitely try Microsoft's solution.

Second, Jonathan, thank you for suggesting the iOS native password
authenticator solution.

I tried it and it works marvelously well.

As some of you may know, after the recent acquisition of Twitter by, he who
shall not be named, 2-factor authentication was automatically removed from all
non-paying twitter accounts. In order to restore 2-factor via SMS, one must
subscribe to Twitter Blue.

Another way to enable 2-factor for Twitter is to use an authentication app.

It never occurred to me to try the native iOS solution but thanks to this
thread, I now have it working just fine.

Again, thank you all.

Mark

Mark, if you’re using this just generate six digit codes and you might be able
to use Apple‘s passwords to do it. That would be far easier to use the Apple
password app automatically fill them in. Sometimes site say they’re using
Microsoft or Google authenticator when they’re just using the generic one time
password protocol.
Open settings and passwords and select the account and click on set up
verification code.

RE: Is Anyone Using the Google Authenticator? or the Microsoft Authenticator?

2023-04-15 Thread paekstrand
Mark,

For the job from which I recently retired, I had to use Microsoft Authenticator
at times. It was accessible with VO. I am not familiar with Google
Authenticator.

Hello All,

Is anyone using either the Google or Microsoft authenticator app? If so, is
either VO accessible? If you are using both, which do you prefer?

All replies greatly appreciated.

Mark

I have used the microsoft authenticator. You must grab the code quickly and
input it in order for it to work.

have you captured the necessary length of the song and saved it as an m4r, then
placed it in iTunes to send to your device?

Hi all. The subject says it all. I want to use an already downloaded song
for my alarm sound. Know it can be done, but I’ve had no success. Any help
would be appreciated.

  Thanks in advance.

  God bless!
