Question About 15

2021-08-04 Thread ' clarence carter' via VIPhone
Recently, there was a conversation about the things that would be taken away
with IOS 15.

One of the take always concerned the kit which allows Siri to set an Uber or
Lift ride.

Has anyone heard anymore about that? Also, are they going to allow the third
party APS to offer the capability?

RE: do not update the facebook ios app

2021-02-19 Thread ' clarence carter' via VIPhone
I have found another work arround. If I tab the newsfeed. This will put you
back in the news feeds. This sounds silly but it works for now.

Thanks for the head-up about Facebook. Two things come to mind. First, when I
use FB, I'm using a Braille device, truth is, I don't know how to do a scrub

correct this problem posthaste. In any event, I'll not update till this issue

Hi folks

The last update is a serious accessibility regression.

FB has made the back-button to leave a posting totally unaccessibile. So to go
back to your newsfeet after you have reacted or answered a post you can
nolonger do this.

However there is a workaround by performing the scrub gesture but sometimes
even this does not work. This can be very frustrated.

These are dark times in which some of us are more dependent on social media
contacts and news.

So you’d better not update and please do all write to facebook accessibility.

RE: Strange Restart

2020-09-22 Thread ' clarence carter' via VIPhone
When Istarted the phone touched was gone. Before I restarted the phone, I was
having trouble with Siri. When I brought the phone up, the home key immediately
opened the phone. As I mentioned earlier Touch ID settings were off. I had to
put everything back.

I do not know what you mean about the touch security?after a reboot, you cannot
use fingerprint to unlock the phone. You have to use your passcode.I've never
tried Siri before I've logged into the phone.

there earlier. I am updated to IOS14.0

I have one and I put the cuff on so that the battery cover is down toward my
elbow. I use it on my left arm because I am too clumsy with it on my right arm.
