We have just posted a list to the AppleVis website of the new accessibility features and accessibility improvements that we are aware of in iOS 7.1. I don't have time to set at a cooperating desktop or laptop and (babysit) the emails. att is my email service, and in ios7 they have chosen to make their yahoo mail app less accessible than before. That is a terrific way for them to continue to keep customers. if anyone has another email client for ios7 that might work, let me know. Rebooting the phone or closing the ap in the app switcher doesn't help the problem either. Just another waisting of time and another babysitting job that is useless. i would gladly pay for a app that actually works and does what I ask it to do. I've used boxer and emailganizer, but I don't care about the format they use. Any suggestions would be appreciated. This mostly happens after I have received a message from her and when the virtual keyboard is showing. This is an annoying bug but not one to get real upset about, IMO. I guess one could argue that maybe it should take you to the last item or element in whichever particular container you are in since the iPhone now does have Containers and the container which includes the Last Updated time and the Compose button is separate from the container which contains all the messages. But, once I've close those 2 apps, there is absolutely no function left to the app switcher but to close it and return to the home screen. So, why then force the user to perform a gesture or, press the physical home button when its a logical inevitability that that is the next action the user will do? This looks to me like a hold over from IOS 6 that is no longer needed in IOS 7. Remember, In IOS 6, although all apps were closed from the switcher, there was still a large list of things a person could still do. Play/pause music, lock/unlock orientation, etc. But this is no longer the case in IOS 7 since all these features have been moved to control center. If I tell Siri Tell Mary I will give her a call in an hour. At least for me, most of the time the message is read back. The times when it isn't, its because VO interrupts it for some reason. In this case, I place my finger on the screen, and flick to the edit field and VO reads the message. I find the error rate to be on par with that found in IOS 6, Maybe a little bit better. But that isn't were Siri is really giving people a lot of headaches though. Its Siri actually processing your requests. This failure rate is way up in IOS 7. I would say its near the levels when it made its debut on the iPhone 4S. In iOS 6, this is easy because Siri reads it back. I have found that the error rate is very good in iOS 6. So most of the time, I don't have to hunt for anything to correct it, making the read back by far the most efficient means of knowing if my text is okay. So, how is the error rate in iOS 7 compared with that of iOS 6? It seems that there are varying reports on this topic. I use dictation a lot, such as in this message. And I will not upgrade if the ability to use it to write longer messages is seriously degraded. Yet one more reason to wait. I do not use a screen protector. The Tech21 cases are unique in their protection over all other cases, they add all but nothing by way of weight and mass to your device, only about a few mil each side, yet they protect in a amazing way. Tech21 use D3O impact technology, which is a revolutionary material invented by the military to protect things, its now found in extreme sports wear and other things like that… Basically, its coloured orange if you can see anything, not the case mark you, just the D3O which of course is inside the case away from view. What it does is spread the energy from an impact across the whole case dispersing it. The material is relatively hard when in its relaxed state, though upon impact it becomes a soft gel like substance. I have broken a number of iOS devices before I started using these cases, and can tell you now that they are both designed well, Aesthetically pleasing, but, importantly add a whole load of protection without bulking up the device.
