Hi Larry, I’ve had that problem on my iPhone 4S a couple of times. I corrected it by first restarting the phone, connecting it to my PC, and opening iTunes. I did not try to sync the phone. I waited about thirty seconds and disconnected the phone. When I opened the app store on my phone again, the updates displayed normally. I hope this helps.
