Re: A Solution for VoiceOver's Having way TOOOOOOOO Much Punctuation

2021-05-20 Thread 'cwc' via VIPhone
I had to do a total restore, then, when I did, the problem still existed. I
went back to reset and reset all settings. then it was fixed.
unfortunately, I had to restore all of my settings. I am still finding
settings that I forgot about.

A Solution for VoiceOver's Having way TOOOOOOOO Much Punctuation

2021-02-04 Thread Chris Szostak
Hi All!

I know a lot of us have had the really really annoying issue with VO
14.3-14.4 reading all and often way more punctuation than wanted. If you
have had this problem, I found a solution on the VO bugs reporting list. at
least two people there tried it with success and I have had the same
results!

1) In settings go to Accessibility/VoiceOver/Activities.

2) Do a 1-finger swipe down on programs until you hear delete and delete
this.

If like me after doing the above two steps, you end up getting VO reading
no punctuation at this point unless you read by character , there is a
really simple solution. I had this problem and the following resolved it.

1) In settings go to Accessibility/VoiceOver/rotor.

2) Make sure punctuation is selected.

This should resolve the problem, as long as your default is set to some.
If it is not set to some, do the following:

1) In settings go to Accessibility/VoiceOver/Verbosity/Punctuation/Active
Punctuation Group.

2) Make sure it is set to some or change the selection if that is not
selected.

Have a blessed day all!

Chris

I dare you to give this a try! Believe in and start to live by the following
promises: Psalm 46 10a, Philippians 4:6-7, and Exodus 14:14. Oh, and when
they prove to be true in your life remember to follow Philippians 4:4 and
then declare 1 Chronicles 29:13! If you want to live with these promises
for all of eternity and avoid what you'll find in Revelation 20:15, then I
strongly urge you to follow and accept Romans 10:9-10 and then ask Christ,
through prayer into your life before it's too late! What are you waiting
for! It's the most amazing and life-changing decision you could ever make!
Want even more, then I dare you to check out the whole Bible for even more
amazing promises that could change your life.
