I guess the makers of these voices are not interested in selling to individuals. I wasn't aware that you could even get this James as a sapi voice. Maybe the screen readers will pick up on it. Personally, Kate is my favorite. I really like James in the sample, but once I actually started using him, I liked him less. Hi Richard. I agree with you that the price for James is a little high. Although the price I got from a guy named Trevor who also works there told me it was only $69 for the voice. Still, that's a bit high. And getting a demo of the voice is quite the headache too. They want you to scan or take a picture of your photo ID and send it to them. I'm actually using James as a demo right now on my VM of Windows 7 and my demo expires some time tomorrow.
