Re: Accessible checkbook program and iPhone app

2012-05-30 Thread Brett

 Hi,

Sorry, I forgot about that one, It's been about 8 months since I have
changed the view.

To label an icon, do a two finger double tap and hold. When you start to
hear the bleeping sound, slide your two fingers up the screen, this will
bring up an edit field with the current label text in it. You can then
delete it and write in your own label. Note this only changes the label
for VoiceOver, It doesn't visually change it.

Hope this helps,

Brett

Hi. I'm not sure if this has been mentioned on this list

The clearcheckbook web site and iPhone app is very accessible.
You can enter transactions and can even see a running balance
if you have their premium service for $42 per year.
There are lots of options including setting recurring
transactions and reminders and running reports.
This is quite a nice program for those of us who need an

 Hi,

You need to tap on Accounts, to open the accounts screen. Down the
bottom of that window, there are two buttons labelled Green Download
and Green WiFi Download. both of these options will let you import
transaction data from your bank. See the user guide for more information
on how this works. You can find the userguide under Settings in the app.

Re: Accessible checkbook program and iPhone app

2012-05-23 Thread Raul A. Gallegos
Hey Brett, is the app you talk about from Anishu? This is the one I
found called Home Budget and it has both a lite and paid version. In the
app description it doesn't mention that it can import your bank data, so
I want to be sure before I try it.

Thanks.

Hi. I'm not sure if this has been mentioned on this list before and i invite
you to crosspost this to any other lists you might think appropriate.
The clearcheckbook web site and iPhone app is very accessible. You can enter
transactions and can even see a running balance if you have their premium
service for $42 per year.
There are lots of options including setting recurring transactions and
reminders and running reports.
This is quite a nice program for those of us who need an accessible checkbook
program and the iPhone app just makes it better.

Re: Accessible checkbook program and iPhone app

2012-05-22 Thread Raul A. Gallegos
Hi, how does this compare to the Balance app. It's free, and if you want
multiple account support the cost is $2.99. I admit that I haven't
downloaded the below mentioned app to compare for myself, but the $42
per year seems a bit steep.
