Hi, that is what confirmation dialogs are for. That's all you would need
to avoid accidental deletion not to mention you could always get them
back from the trash folder in a pinch.
Any good mail program has this feature. It doesn't mean everyone has to
use it. It's an option that's sorely missing IMHO.
