RE: Annoying Problem With My 4S

2014-06-19 Thread Rose Combs
I know, mine only started about the end of March and occasionally it could
be embarrassing but since the end of May I am not getting that many calls on
it, in fact it startled me yesterday when it rang.

RE: Annoying Problem With My 4S

2014-06-19 Thread Rose Combs
It is only when calling or receiving a call, and volume is maxed, had
sighted person assure me of that and he could not hear well on it either.
Rest of sounds seemed to work until I disconnected that line on my plan. I
don't have plans to do anything until after I can update my phone, either a
5S or the newer one if announced this fall, dependent on how my 4S works
over the next several weeks.

in! This causes my voice to cut in and out, making it very frustrating not

I also am having this issue, but in my case, I think it has more to do with
the iPhone case I'm using, as opposed to the iOS 7, but I've not done an

Ever since iOS 7, when I am on a phone call, even if I barely, and I mean
barely, move my phone while it is up to my ear, speaker phone mode will kick
in! This causes my voice to cut in and out, making it very frustrating not
only for the person I'm talking to, but for me as well! Is there any way
to disable this feature permanently? It seems to be getting worse! I can't
wait until iOS 8! Also, I will be able to upgrade my phone in mid
September! Thanks for any suggestions!

RE: Annoying Problem With My 4S

2014-06-18 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
Hi Rose,

I assume that it is just the volume which is turned down on the iPhone 5.
When you say you can't hear through the earpiece, is this only when you are
on a call?If it works

Hmm, I am having the same problem with my 4S, however, it started about six
weeks ago. I am not eligible for an update until July 26th, have my late
husband's 5 still but, one can't hear through the earpiece well, waiting,
and maybe will make it till new model, but probably not. Then again, might
as I don't get as many calls now.
