RE: Apple Watch no longer speaks or makes sounds
Right. That's what I had been doing countless times, and that wasn't working. It was only that hard reboot suggestion that worked. -Original Message- From: viphone@googlegroups.com On Behalf Of Kay Malmquist Sent: Sunday, July 23, 2023 5:05 PM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: Re: Apple Watch no longer speaks or makes sounds Go in to your watch app on your phone and turn off voice over and then turn it back on again. Malcolm, Thank you very much. I don’t know why it didn’t occur to me to try and do a hard reset on the watch. I think that is what it is called. Anyway, it worked like a charm. Thanks again. Re: Apple Watch no longer speaks or makes sounds
Hi, This is a common problem and is best solved by pressing both the power button and the Digital Crown and holding them both in for around ten seconds. Release them both and in a short while your watch should be talking again.
