Re: Audible's welcome pageFW: Welcome to Audible Plus!

2021-03-06 Thread Joshua Hendrickson
Hi Siegard. Just to let you know, if you want to resume playback of
your audible book, you don't always have to go back into the book
details and hit the play button again. When you open your audible app
after beginning to play a book from the details tab, your home screen
should be your default tab, and you should find the book you are
listening to, just hit the play button, and there you go. Its easy.

I agree, let's hope a few of the people on this list will take a few minutes to
send an email to Audible to request this functionality.
To make it even easier, the email address is:

Re: Audible's welcome pageFW: Welcome to Audible Plus!

2021-03-06 Thread deidre muccio
Yes, I just had to download the audible app and then look through all the
different offerings that I qualified for with audible plus which is somewhat
limited. Bunch of old classics and occasional real jewel by an author that I
like. Most of the searches I did came up empty. For my favorite authors, that
is. I like that I don’t have to download them unless I have some reason to
keep A paA particular book, which I have no need for given that I already use
Bard and Learning Ally and I can access them easily as well. So I’m set. I had
to update to 14.4 in order to download the audible app! I did it on my old
phone, not my new phone, to check it out. There just a few little linguistic
things that I findirritating, such as new labels for things and some processes
are a little more laborious than they were beforehand. I can’t think of which
ones it was that I encountered in the last day that kind of irritated me but
whatever the phones working just fine.

Re: Audible's welcome pageFW: Welcome to Audible Plus!

2021-03-06 Thread Joshua Hendrickson
What you do, is, there should be a menu button after each audible
title. I double tap the menu button and I find a book details page.
I read through the book info, and I find a play button, and a download
button as well if the book isn't already downloaded to my iPhone.
Good luck.

Maybe this is different in the US, I am in Canada and I have not found a way to
stream a book from Audible on my iPhone.
What exactly do you do to stream a book instead of downloading it?

2021-03-05 Thread deidreandlouise
Wow lousy instructions on how to get started with a new service. Should it
have been obvious in order to do anythingwith Audible I first need to download
the App? Am I that stupid?

The mailings have a lot of graphics, and how I hate table formats.
