Re: Bad news concerning gamepass and the NFL mobile app.

2015-09-13 Thread Daniel Miller
Hi,
I was able to get the feed of the Panthers-Jags game, and it is the radio
feeds. There is one problem, though, when you lock the screen, the audio
breaks. Can anyone confirm or deny this issue and report back?

2015-09-13 Thread Christopher Chaltain
My understanding was that audio was always available on the PC and Mac,
and that it would be coming to the mobile app, which was supposed to
have happened in the update to the NFL Mobile app a few days ago. I'll
be curious to hear if this works an if you get the radio feed or just
the audio of the TV feed. Since you get to choose between the home feed
and the away feed, I'm assuming this means you'll get the radio broadcast.

Although NFL Game Pass does make it convenient to pull up any game, it
isn't the only way to listen to NFL games. I'm listening to the radio
feed of a game right now through the team's home page.

Hi Wayne,

The app didn’t let you listen to the steelers-Patriots game on Thursday, but
they did release an update yesterday in time for the sunday games tomorrow.
Let’s see how this goes.

2015-09-11 Thread Christopher Chaltain
I hope not. I'd still like to hear from others if it worked or not and
if they're getting the radio feeds or the audio of the TV feeds.

I guess if you're not interested in this thread, you can use the delete
key. Using a threaded email client would also help you to avoid threads
you aren't interested in.

I'm also not sure individual users should be able to decide what threads
continue and don't continue on this list. I'd suggest we leave that up
to Cara.

Re: Bad news concerning gamepass and the NFL mobile app.

2015-09-11 Thread Christopher Chaltain
The fact that you think the NFL's Game Pass is worth little to nothing
is your own opinion, and based on your message, I don't really think you
respect someone who's signs up for NFL Game Pass. I got the same
criticism as a Audio Pass subscriber in the past, but being able to
effortlessly pull up any radio feed of any game I wanted was worth $20
to me. I decided it wasn't worth $99 to me, so I passed on a Game Pass
subscription this season, but I would never criticize someone else who
did. I have no idea what their economic situation is or how much they
value the convenience of NFL Game Pass. Unless I'm mistaken, Sirius
isn't a free service. I don't have a Sirius subscription, but I would
never say it's worth little to nothing just because I don't choose to
pay for a subscription myself. IMHO, we should focus on accessibility
discussions on this list and talk about accessible alternatives and not
make judgment statements on those who choose a different service or
product than the one we use.

The packers seem to be a hard one to find their feed of. I'd say they have
pretty good talent on there, and being in Wisconsin, that's the one I would
want to listen to. I guess Fox or CBS on TV will have to safice because it
isn't worth $23 a month to subscribe to Sirius just for that. It seems like
a lot of the rest of their sports are available on Tunein or cheaper
individual subscriptions like At Bat.

Email account-supp...@nfl.com and ask that it be added. It makes no sense that
they wouldn’t at some point, seeing as you could listen to games with the old

Hi,
That's just it I've read or found nothing indicating that such support will
be added to the iOS app. I would love for someone to prove me wrong on that

That’s odd. I as able to log in just fine and listen to the steelers
broadcast on my mac.
Once they add the ability to listen to games on iOS, I’ll be happy, since I
refuse to use any of those free apps that rely on actual stations, which
because of contractual obligations don’t always stream the games.

Re: Bad news concerning gamepass and the NFL mobile app.

2015-09-11 Thread Alan Paganelli
The problem for me when I click on the login page is, I get a page not found
message. So their telling me the NFL doesn't exist. I'm done with this crap.
The NFL has my hundred bucks and I have nothing. Ok. They got me this year
but they won't stick it to me next year. I was forced to listen to the
Patriots game last night by listening to Westwood 1 on an old transister radio

It’s not Apple that needs to be notified. It’s the NFL that needs to add the

since apple had upgraded ios 8.4.1, then that might be some issues. because

Those apps are absolutely terrible for listening to games, in my opinion. So
until the NFL adds that ability to the app, I’ll listen to them on the

Hopefully it’ll be added soon.

I just emailed account-supp...@nfl.com and asked them to add the ability to
listen to live radio broadcasts with gamepads in the app. I suggest everyone
that has the subscription do the same, since the only way you can right now is
through the desktop, which is accessible, it’s just a minor inconvenience to be
tied to a computer all game.

Re: Bad news concerning gamepass and the NFL mobile app.

2015-09-10 Thread Les Kriegler
Apparently, Verizon customers can listen to audio broadcast on NFL mobile. I'm
not certain how many games can be heard, but this is specifically for Verizon
customers.

Hi all,

Unfortunately, I have some bad news concerning the NFL mobile app and game
pass. You cannot listen to live radio broadcasts on the app, only through
the mac or PC.
I really hope I’m really hoping I’m missing something, but it doesn’t look
like I am.
