Just tossing out random ideas here.

Have you tried having Siri turn off voiceover and then turn it back on?

Is there any possibility that there’s a Bluetooth headset attached to your 
computer somewhere in the house or apartment?

Sorry if you’ve already been through this routine but that’s all I have right 
now.
