RE: Can You Transfer Email to Dropbox?
I don't think you can do this with an iPhone, but as Brad said, if you use Gmail all your mail lives on their server and simply setting up your account on your new iPhone will give you access to your email again just as with your old phone. -Original Message- From: viphone@googlegroups.com On Behalf Of Shirley Baker Sent: Monday, April 12, 2021 12:23 PM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: Re: Can You Transfer Email to Dropbox? Re: Can You Transfer Email to Dropbox?
If your email is setup using IMAP on your current device, you will lose nothing, because all your email is on your provider’s servers, and not on your device. Re: Can You Transfer Email to Dropbox?
Depending on which email client you are using, you can highlight the mail item in the mailbox list, and open the applications menu, where you should find an option to do a Save As. Then you can give the file a name of your choosing and decide on a folder where you want to save the file. Alternatively, you could also begin a Reply message, then select the contents of the message using CTRL + A, then copy the selected text using CTRL + C.. Once copied to the clipboard, you can then paste the contents of the message into the text editor of your choice, and then save the file for future reference.
