Can anyone tag files in iTunes 12

2014-11-06 Thread Neal Ewers
Hi all. I seem to be unable to tag parts of files in iTunes 12. Those parts
that are combo boxes, I can tag, but anything that is an edit field, says it
is read only and text cannot be entered into it. Fortunately I don't use
iTunes to tag a lot of files. I tried it because someone I know said she
couldn't do it, and I can't either. Any help would be appreciated.

2014-11-06 Thread Colin Matthews
Hi!
OK this is in the Mac version of iTunes12!
When sitting on the track in question just press Command+i and you should be
put into the window for changing different options [and if Command+i does not
work press VO+shift+m] to bring up the contenceual menu and VO space on the get
info option!
Then in the info window the 1st button is details select that and just go
through the items you wish to edit and there is also an add field menu if
needed to say add BPM!
Then you can either just press Enter or go to the OK button!
Or press the next track option if useful!
There are other items in those buttons like setting your own custom EQ for that
track!
I HTH!

RE: Can anyone tag files in iTunes 12

2014-11-06 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
Hi Neal,

I can only speak from a Jaws perspective. If you are in a field which can be
edited, then you have to route Jaws to PC and do a left mouse click. This will
put you into the edit field. I could not find another way to do this except
this, but it works consistently for me.

Regards,

Sieghard
