When I go to the status bar running IOS 17.4.1 I see microphone in use, then I tap it and it displays siri and dictation are in use but there is no way to clear it. Unless I manually power off the device in settings general shut down. Whenever I try to use dictation from the keyboard that is onscreen, for some reason, it's not working properly as it should. Also, Siri is acting up, just hangs when I press the power button but I will try "hey" command next if that solves my issue, but am generally wondering if Apple has an outage of some sort like they did in the past in regards to dictation and siri?
