I am pretty sure there is a way to do it. The problem is voiceover doesn't see that option. I have found no way to get around this. If I have to edit my posts, I use www.m.facebook.com There are several things I use the mobile site for because I find the Facebook app doesn't show all options. You can edit posts using the facebook app by using a 2-finger double tap, then selecting the 'more' option.
