Re: Ergonomic Bluetooth keyboards

2020-06-18 Thread Richard Turner
Since this isn't for me, all I can say is what my client said.
He prefers the ergonomic keyboard for two reasons, he has very large hands, and
has some issues with carpal tunnel.
He will settle for the k380, but he has to type far slower, and take frequent
breaks.

Thanks for the replies.
Since they want to use it with both an iPhone and an iPad 7, wired is not ideal.
There may be a Surface keyboard that is bluetooth that could work, at three
times the price of other non-ergonomic keyboards, but he'll probably just deal
with a standard keyboard.

I have a client who has very large hands and uses an Ergonomic keyboard on his

iPad/iPhone. He does not need the numpad, but would take it if one exists.
I had looked around for someone else a few years ago but came up empty.

iClever sells a foldable one that they claim is ergonomic, but not if you are a
touch typist since the m and n keys are pushed way over so that the m is where
the n should be and the comma is where the m should be.
Not impressed.

Re: Ergonomic Bluetooth keyboards

2020-06-17 Thread Gadget Girl
Hi there!

I have an 'old school', Brand New, still in the manufacturer's box, full-size
ergonomic keyboard by Microsoft. I purchased it in the Win 32 USB, Windows
XP/Mac era. Keyboard has never been used. Only recently opened to examine
contents inside the box since never opened after purchase. Just never got to
it. Box in excellent, Like-New condition. Still wrapped in box as Microsoft
left it. Getting Started booklet and software included. No missing parts.
From clean, dry climate-controlled storage. Non-Smoking/Pet-Free environment.

Unsure if Keyboard speaks or can work with VoiceOver since a Copyright on the
box reads, 2005 Microsoft Corp. Also unsure if Keyboard offers Bluetooth, as
Keyboard uses a wire to plug in, but at least, that could be another option for
your Client.

Now cleaning out Office closet which has Brand New & Lightly Enjoyed 'Blasts
from the Past'! This is the Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 with
Advanced Ergonomic Desighn. I will be posting this item on the BlindAds list.
Thanks.

Best regards,
Anita K.

Re: Ergonomic Bluetooth keyboards

2020-06-17 Thread Priscilla Garces (prisci)
Hello,
Hope you are doing well and staying healthy. ,
I just got a keyboard that is pretty ergonomic for me. It comes with an iPad
case that is made for the iPad 9.7 inch screen.
I got it on Amazon for about $50. The case of self rotates 360° so that you can
use it as a tablet.

iPad Keyboard Case 9.7 for iPad...
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B084ZS6NGG?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

They only have it in two colors, black and another one that I can’t recall.
It has a backlit keyboard which means that it can light up in the dark.
I have small hands so the keys are pretty big in nicely spaced out for me. so
really, it is like a little petite laptop I can just take with me anywhere
rather than lugging my MacBook Pro with other accessories on a longer commute
because it eventually takes a toll on my back after a while, especially when
you stand waiting for the bus or subway for a long time. I worry less and feel
safer on the longer commute when taking my iPad then I do when I take my
laptop especially if I decide to eventually go to the city and come home in
the evening for meetings and other activities in the future after this
pandemic. Any questions about the keyboard, please feel free to reach out.
Thank you.

Ergonomic Bluetooth keyboards

2020-06-17 Thread Richard Turner
Has anyone run across a full sized ergonomic Bluetooth keyboard?
I have a client who has very large hands and uses an Ergonomic keyboard on his
Windows computer and would really like a Bluetooth one to use with the
iPad/iPhone.

Not impressed.
normal
Thanks,

Richard

others, I've never once regretted extending it.)" - Edward Herbert
