Under the settings for Facebook I had to download what I assume to be the
Facebook app before I could log in both on the app and the settings. That
gave me access to the Facebook update in the notifications. Did not want
the app I had to download as I use Focus for Facebook. Can I take the app
out and just use Focus and still send a status from notifications?

Re: Facebook Intigration

2012-09-20 Thread Sean Paul
, let me clarify just a bit more. You don't have to have the official apps.
If you're using VoiceBook or whatever it's called, or any other Facebook
App. Tweetlist or the myriad of other twitter Apps. You're still in
business. As long as you've got your user information entered in settings.
You can post from the notification center, fleksy, etc. If Facebook has been
added to fleksy.

RE: Facebook Intigration

2012-09-20 Thread John Diakogeorgiou
Have the changes tregrding the integration and the changes to the official
FaceBook app made it better to use the official FaceBook app or is it still
better to use a program like Facely? Thanks!

And if you intigrate with the app, can you still go into the facebook app
and post that way.

Wow so are you saying we do not need the Facebook app if we just want
to post and is this the same with the Twitter integration in other
words if we just want to tweet can we do that as well without
installing the official Twitter app? Please advise. Thanks!

I'm hoping that I'm not answering this question if it has already
been answered somewhere up the line today. There has been a great
deal of emails today on different list about this subject. However, here
goes.
Jen: You'll need to go to settings, flick right until you find
Facebook, go in enter your user name which in this case will be the
email address which you have on file with Facebook, then enter your
Facebook password. If you're wanting to interact with Facebook past just
posting.
You'll need to have some sort of Facebook app installed. Please let
me know if this works for you or if I may be of further assistance.

Heyya Jen:
If you do a 3 finger flick down from the notification center.
Depending on what order you have your notification in, the post to
facebook post to twitter should be right under weather. Just hit
the one you want there will come up an edit field, once finished,
there is a send button at the top right corner.

Hi,
I am wondering how you post to facebook via the notification
centre.
I've always just used the facebook app but now understand you
can do posting of photos and updates differently now.
