Fleksy: adding your number and email address
Greetings. Well, I've taken the plunge and got Fleksy last night. Though I have yet to read any documentation and am going from what I've read on list and heard, I already like typing in it. One question so far: what are the advantages and benefits of putting my mobile number and email address in the Fleksy app settings? I am not a paranoid person, but I am a little wary about putting my information here. What's the purpose of this? Will others be able to see my contact information if they get a message from me or if I send it using Fleksy? It does take some getting used to to not leave my finger on a letter and wait for the letter. Okay, that makes sense. The question comes to mind, is the information still displayed in your email if the message goes to someone that doesn't use Fleksy? Also, if there is no number or email in your message and you send it to a Fleksy user, is the app smart enough to figure things out when that user clicks on the Fleksy link? Sounds like I will take that info out of my settings since I don't know a lot of blind people outside of work that have iOS devices. Plus I'm a little uncomfortable having that information displayed to anyone that gets emails that are sent from my phone.
