Hi, Mine is on the lock screen as, if paramedics finds me anywhere and I am not able to talk, that is the screen that is most likely to be visible to them. If I remember correctly in settings you can choose a picture for your lock screen wall paper and a seperate picture for your homeschreen. The picture you choose for your lock screen should not be covered up with any icons. However, if you are playing music with the apple music app then your lock screen picture will not be visible as the album artwork is visible instead. I imagine other apps besides the music app will also show up on the lock screen but this is the only one I personally know about. I think I have the same app. It's called I emergency plus. The plus is written as the plus sign from the more symbols keyboard and the whole thing is written with no spaces. There's a way to get it as wall paper on the phone, too. It's fully accessible. I don't remember the cost, but it wasn't much. You can put your ICE contacts, your medical information and your doctors' names in it. God bless! One time someone on this list posted a super great idea which I used on my children’s iPods. I went into notes and typed up some emergency info. Then I took a screen shot by pressing the power button and home button at the same time. I then used it as their wall paper. I thought this was great since the kids have a pass code set up on their iPods in case they lose it or something. I did have sighted assistance to make sure the picture on the wall paper displayed the information correctly. This is a neat idea. Is the wallpaper view on the screen that has the unlock button, or the screens on which the apps are located? If the wallpaper is on the screens that have the apps, wouldn't the app icons obscure the information in the photo being used as the wallpaper?. Thanks. Hi Christina, At that time, I did the same with a short paragraph explaining how to turn off the voice over and going to my iEmergency app for my information. In an accident now, paramedics are trained to look for a cell phone. My iEmergency has all my information like my doctor's phone number, contact people in case of emergency, drug store phone number and even my blood type. That was a good idea. I have an app called Call 911 on the top right of my home screen. I have it set so that if I open the app and shake the phone it calls 911 automatically. Hi Sandra I have just recently put an app on my phone called Emergency Ice. This can be used in different countries and a lot of information can be put into the app in case medical details are required. I can't remember if it was free or not, but it wouldn't have cost very much if I downloaded it. I'm pretty sure I've got the name right, perhaps you could put the word ice in to the app store search.
