Re: Home button gestures on an iPad

2023-06-02 Thread Terje Strømberg
There is an option to configure home screen command if you find it easier.
If you don't like it you can delete the new command and also reset voice
commands to standard and it works like before.
Home commands option: go to ios settings, accessibility, voice over,
commands, all commands, system. Here you hit the home button and you are
inside home commands for touch screen and keyboard.
If you don't find something you like, you can delete it by focus on it and
svipe up and hit delete.
There are an reset all commands button at the tottom of the commands
screen. The first screen after voice over.
Take care

a.. To access Siri, long press the lock button.
b.. To get to the App Switcher, start at the bottom of the screen and slide
up until you feel the third vibration. Two vibrations will get you to the home
screen and three vibrations will get you the App Switcher.
c.. To stop and restart VoiceOver, use a triple press of the lock button.

Re: Home button gestures on an iPad

2023-05-23 Thread Andy Baracco
How do you do things like access Siri, reach the app switcher, and control
Voiceover like you would do with presses of the home button?

translation slide up until you feel a vibration or a higher pitched tone than
the one you heard when you touch the iPad at the bottom.

Hi Andy,

What i would suggest is sliding up from the bottom of the screen until you
feel a couple of bumps. I think it could be the same for sighted people, just
without VoiceOver’s clicks.
