RE: How do I turn off special symbols in the IOS keyboard?

2014-01-26 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
You can’t turn that off unless you switch from touch typing to standard typing
where you have to double or split tap each letter

I also want to know any hint about this if there's any hint at all. Thanks in
advance.

I'm teaching some one on the IPad using IOS 7. He's trying to explore the
keyboard, but if he takes too long on any letter it hides the keyboard and
shows special symbols associated with that letter. For example, if he sits too
long on the E, it gives him e ecute, e grave, and so on. It's making it really
frustrating for him trying to learn the keyboard. Is there a way to enable or
disaple this?

Re: How do I turn off special symbols in the IOS keyboard?

2014-01-11 Thread Chris H

Hi
someone did respond, they said no, the only workaround is to change
typing mode from touch typing to standard typing.
