That's strange as I always received them, both for myself and as gifts for friends, almost immediately. It's not weird at all purchasing one for yourself as I do it nearly all of the time as I do not like to use my card 100% of the time as I got better, sometimes important things to purchase than music or other things. Hi. I spoke to someone on the 800-MYAPPLE phone number and was told it could take up to 48 hours to receive the certificate. We'll see what happens. This is what I do, based on a time where I never got the gift certificate Iwas buying for someone. now whether I am buyng for someone or buing it to get my own music and things, I only give them the email address that is mine that I want it to go to. I have two addresses so I can send from one to another, but I don't think they can do anything if you want to appear to send it to yourself. none of their concern. I just got the receipt for it, but I'm still waiting for the email of the certificate so I can credit my account to buy music without using my credit card any more than necessary. How long should I expect to wait for the certificate? If I should have gotten it already, who do I contact with my problem? I know this sounds weird, sending myself a certificate, but I wanted to put credit into my iTunes account and not risk not having enough money in the bank to cover the purchases I may make.
