RE: I O S Install and display issues now with the Fahrenheit App
Hi Robin, I would bring it to the attentionof the developers. I use a Canadian weather app which displays the temperature on the icon and it works fine so it might just be something they have to fix although it appears from some of the replies that it works for others. Maybe try and turn on Voiceover Hints? Re: I O S Install and display issues now with the Fahrenheit App
Hi, Someone else I know who reported a similar problem said it wasn't just limited to this particular app. Is your weather app located within a folder as well? so when you are on the icon for the folder containing it the folder icon reports the change to its temperature badge then? turning hints on had no impact on the lack of verbalization. I did report it to apple accessibility so they can attempt to confirm the issue. Hi, I too can verify this bug with this exact scenario as well as others and it has been visually verified that the temperature still does in fact display. Perhaps others will join me in reporting it to accessibil...@apple.com in hopes that it'll be addressed. It may have something to do with Voiceover and the new way that apps are displayed. My sighted wife says that the font for the app icons is larger.
