Re: IOS 11 and bluetooth headsets

2017-10-11 Thread Andy Baracco
Those who are experiencing the issue might want to check with the headset
manufacturer to see if there is a firmware update for their headset.
Plantronics headsets are firmware upgradable through a utility available on the
Plantronics web site that can be downloaded and installed on a PC,and then you
simply attach the headset to its USB cable and plug it into the PC.

Yes, I see a pattern (Plantronics users aren’t seeing this issue), but many

2017-10-10 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
That seems to be happening with some bluetooth headsets only, I have a
Plantronics Voyager Edge earpiece and an old Outdoor Tech stereo bluetooth
headset and neither one of them does this and neither do any of my bluetooth
speakers.

IOS 11 and bluetooth headsets

2017-10-10 Thread Denise Colley
Hi all:

I have a question. I am using an iphone 7 and have IOS 11.02 downloaded.
The problem I am having is that when using any of my Bluetooth headsets
every time I touch an icon on the screen or when my screen is moving from
one page to the next when using the Kindle app I get an audible beep or tone
in my earbuds. Does anyone know why this might be happening or if there is
someway to shut that off? It's very annoying.

Thanks.
