Hello Scott,

You do not need to purchase a Mac OS developer subscription to renew or to
purchase an iOS developer subscription.

I don't know which screen reader or internet browser with which you are
accessing the Apple Developer website but make sure you have the latest
version of your preferred web browser. Internet Explorer 9 and earlier no
longer play well with many of Apple's websites. If you don't want to update
IE, then use the latest version of Firefox.

Good Luck,

Specifically for the developer account holders on this list, has Apple
changed its policies? Do you need a macc and IOS developer account now to
beta test My account is about ready for renewal, and I was going to do that
both by computer and my iPhone with voiceover, but when I click on the IOS
developer program check box, the next screens try to addd a mac developer
program as well. Any help with this would be appreciated as I don't want
to pay for a program I won't use. If you'd like you can email me privately

I think you should cite where you found the information regarding Internet
Explorer 9 and earlier no longer play well with apple websites. I'm only
asking for a citation because many having problems finding information or
using the apple website might use your information and conclude that the
troubles are due to Internet Explorer 9 when this might not be the case at
all. the end result will be tons of postings blaming Internet Explorer 9

Out of curiosity, I just ran a quick search of the Apple.com support pages
and found nothing regarding problems with the combination of the Apple
website and Internet Explorer 9. I did find some references to the need for
a plug-in and such, but plug-ins are common for many products.

In short, it appears that those using Internet Explorer 9 need not worry
about problems with Apple webpages and access to content beyond what one can
expect from using a screenreader.
