Actually, the name of the new Instant Pot cooker is the Instant Pot Smart WiFi
6 Quart Electric Pressure Cooker if you look at it on Amazon which seems to
clearly indicate it is a wifi as opposed to a Bluetooth model. It is still on
sale for $90 versus its regular retail price of $149.95. You can find it at
this link:

What's interesting is that the sale advertisement did not indicate one way or
the other which type of networking is required, and neither is it stated on the
box!

I guess folks could buy the wifi one and see if they can work around the

RE: Instant Pot Smart WiFi Pairing Guide

2018-11-30 Thread Cristóbal Muñoz
SO! Many! Exclamation marks!

The only one being sold is the wifi model. There is no bluetooth version
anymore. Hasn’t been since I think early this year or last. If you bought one
with connectivity, it’s by default the wifi version.

Where did you buy it from that it didn’t say which model it was? Outside of a
private sale perhaps, I’m incredulous that the listing didn’t say what model
instant pot it was anywhere. Be it ultra, wifi, mini, etc. How did you
otherwise know you were buying the one you wanted then?
