Belkin makes such an animal, Folio makes one too. I can't remember which mine is but would guess Folio. They come with the recharge cable. I can go about 2 to 3 weeks before the keyboard needs to be recharged. The charging cable ends in a USB plug and can be recharged from a laptop or the little wall USB adapter that comes with the iPhone or iPad. Re: Ipad keyboard question.
Hi. There is a keyboard dock which contains a keyboard and into which the iPad plugs through its charging port. There is also a camera kit for the iPad and people have reported that this kit, which basically puts a USB port on the iPad, supports plugging in keyboards. Both the kit and the dock are probably available from Apple. HTH. Re: iPad keyboard question
If you go into your Settings, General and double tap Keyboard, you will find several controls. Activating "Split Keyboard" will split the keyboard so the right half is pulled to the far right side of the screen, and the left half is way over on the left hand side of your screen. This makes it easier to hold the iPad on either side and type with your thumbs. You don't have to reach so far into the middle of the larger iPad screen. Re: iPad keyboard question
Try it in landscape position, or you can split the keyboard so it spreads out to each side. Not sure you can make it larger. Of course, the BT keyboard would help. hth Sent from my iPad On Jun 3, 2012, at 11:53 AM, Kirsten Edmondson wrote: > Hi all, I just got an iPad 2 yesterday, but I wanted to ask about the > keyboard.
