RE: Is this app voiceover friendly?

2019-01-09 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
And I would suggest you get an iPhone 8 or 8 Plus depending on what size phone
you like, you'll pay a lot less than for any of the X models and while the
iPhone 8 still has the virtual home button and Touch Id, it's a great phone. I
am actually glad my wife and I came across this awesome upgrade offer from our
provider here in Canada, we had the 6S and 6S Plus before, because this way we
are set for the next 3 to 4 years and by then Apple probably has figured out
where they are going with Face Id and if Touch Id anywhere on the screen is
making a come-back as it seems to be doing with some Android phones, it's
probably perfected by then. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Apple were the
ones to really get it right since certainly with Touch Id and Face Id they were
the company which did first get it right.

Best regards,
Sieghard

Re: Is this app voiceover friendly?

2019-01-09 Thread Larry Smith
Hi Richard. It is very easy to scan the sensor. Each person will most likely
find their comfort method when scanning. I find it very simple to either bend
my elbow and lift my arm somewhat. The top of the phone is placed near the
sensor. I can usually get a scan with the front of the phone placed within 2
inches or so of the sensor. The distance can vary depending on what you are
wearing. For example, if you are wearing a coat, sweater, sweat shirt, you will
need to place your phone closer to the sensor. If the sensor is exposed or you
are wearing thin clothing, the phone can be farther from the sensor. The phone
will vibrate and give a suttle tone when the scan is successful. Most instances
it only takes a couple of seconds. You can also turn on text-to-speech and the
results will be spoken. If you miss the spoken results, you can then just swipe
to read the results. It is very easy to apply the sensor to the back upper part
of the arm. Applying the sensor is easier than removing it. Not saying that it
is difficult to remove.

Re: Is this app voiceover friendly?

2019-01-08 Thread Andy Baracco
I believe so, but it works in conjunction with a patch that you wear, and
apparently you can scan the sensor in the patch with your iPhone camera.
The patches are expensive, I believe $75, and they have to be replaced every
two weeks. insurance may or may not cover it.

Hello,
Yes this app is voiceover friendly. I use it everyday. Some of the buttons
could have some better labels but overall its a very accessible app.
