Yes, sorry , wrong term. Yes you can use your credits to purchase new books
from Audible right in the IOS Audible app. There five tabs at the bottom of the
screen when you open the Audible app. They are: Home, My library, Player,
Originals, and Discover.
If you explore books or other offerings in Home, Originals, or Discover, you
can double tap on any of the books shown in those tabs to expand that option.
You will see under Summary and Sample, the option to add to "My Library" if you
have credits available. Double tap the "Add" option and in your Library it
goes. You will receive a prompt "Add to your Library for one credit?" So double
tap that and that's all you need to do. You will find the the new book in your
library.

Audible has now discontinued the return feature. The last time I
checked they changed it to an exchange rather than a return.
So if you have any books in the library, they are all available in the
App.

And, like siegard, I love the Audible app and use it all the time. I
have been an Audible customer for about twenty years so have lots of
books there.

I do have an audible account, I just prefer not to use the app to
listen to

my audible books. My audible books don't usually stay on my library
because

I often return my books although purchasing 3 credits for a little

is pretty neat. If all the audible books I own were actually on my

library, then maybe I'd really like the app a bit more.

I'm sure somebody has done a tutorial or Podcast about the Audible

your library of available books, how to delete them and that you have
to double tap the book title if you want the jump forward and

You can also search for books in the My Library tab. Below the
information that the book is not in your library, you will find
results which you can use a credit. This assumes you do have a credit
to use. I hope they add the ability at some point of pre-ordering a
book with a credit. This is nice progress though.

Audible has now discontinued the return feature. The last time I checked
they changed it to an exchange rather than a return.

So if you have any books in the library, they are all available in the App.
And, like siegard, I love the Audible app and use it all the time. I have
been an Audible customer for about twenty years so have lots of books there.

LOL!

I do have an audible account, I just prefer not to use the app to listen to
my audible books. My audible books don't usually stay on my library because
I often return my books although purchasing 3 credits for a little over $28
is pretty neat. If all the audible books I own were actually on my audible
library, then maybe I'd really like the app a bit more.

I find the learning curve is quite small and certainly no more and
maybe less steep than for an app like Voice Dream Reader.
I'm sure somebody has done a tutorial or Podcast about the Audible app
and if you know a few basics as in how you download books from your
library of available books, how to delete them and that you have to
double tap the book title if you want the jump forward and backward
buttons to turn into Skip Chapter and Go back a chapter it's really a
very simple and fully accessible app.

I don't use the audible app although I have it installed. I didn't
care for it very much. I found it a bit over complicated to use. I
have other means of listening to audible books.

Hi Mark,
Frankly, I personally could care less about this. What I care far
more about is the fact that, despite me and I know a few other people
riding to audible and asking them to restore the actions rotor so the
deleting items is much easier like it used to be, they insist on not
doing it. So I would ask you to please join me in asking audible to
allow use of the action rotor invoice over to easily delete items
from one’s device. The present system is needlessly complicated.

Hello All,

Please join me in requesting that the developers of the Audible for
iOS / iPad OS app add a playback sound equalizer feature so that one
can adjust the bass, mid-range, and treble frequencies,
independently. A similar feature exists in the BARD Mobile app.

They have indicated that if they receive enough requests, they will
implement the feature.

You may contact them via Twitter at AudibleSupport, by leaving a
request review in the app store or by your preferred method of contact.

As always your support is greatly appreciated.

Mark

I love the new feature that allows you to purchase books in Audible with your
points, right from the IOS app. It took a few years for Audible to negotiate
this option with Apple.

Likewise, I really like the Audible app. I got spoiled by being able to
download the books directly to my ios device. Very nice!
