I agree that it all depends. For most things I can think of, though, the Mac is
a fine choice, especially if you also have an iOS device. I wrote an article on

iphone/mac book pro

2013-06-01 Thread Tess
Hi,

How can I load up the same apps that is on my iphone onto my mac book pro?

I have tried to search the app store on my laptop, but being a new user, I
am not seeing how to do that.

Not a new user to the phone, but to the laptop.

Going from a windows user to a mac user is completely different.

Hello,

from the iTunes store, you can download all your apps from there. Click the
purchased link just like in the app store on your phone, then click the apps

RE: iphone/mac book pro

2013-06-01 Thread Tess
Does the mac come with the itunes option to go to the app store? I went to
the website to try and download it, but can only find a download link for
windows.
I also went to the app store that wasn't called itunes, but could not find
anything that states purchased.
Any help would be appreciated. Also, if you can email me off list to not
clutter the list that is fine as well.
I have tried to look for a manual of sorts, but couldn't find a manual to
assist me.

Hi,

Another possibility is to connect your iPHOne, then find it in the sidebar
(press Command-S to find this if it's not on screen already), interact with the
sidebar by pressing VO (Command-Option)-Shift-Down Arrow, pressing VO-Shift-M
to right-click, and choose Transfer Purchases. Then all the apps on your phone
will be copied to your computer.

Best,
