RE: MenuWeather question

I could be wrong, but I think you double tap and hold, wait for the tri
tone, then slide down with one finger.

Subject: MenuWeather question

Hi,

I like the app.

On the Main Screen, it says, Locations, HomeCity then Pull Down to
Refresh.

Does anyone know what gesture to use in VoiceOver? I've tried everything I
can think of to Pull Down but nothing seems to work.

Thanks in advance. Keith

2012-07-06 Thread Shawn Krasniuk
Hey guys. I've never tried Menuweather on my iPhone. I do have it on my Mac but
it's completely not accessible. Wonder why they made it accessible on the
iPhone but not on the Mac? For my weather app I use Imap Weather Radio even
though it doesn't work up here in Canada anymore. I just keep it on because I
like listening to alerts for my favourite cities in the States.

2012-07-06 Thread Scott Howell
Shawn,

If you have it for the Mac you might consider contacting the dev and seeing if
he will address the issues. I am sure if he can make it accessible for the iOS
platform, he could make it accessible for the Mac. ALthough he may not realize
how accessible it is on the iOS platform.

Re: Menuweather

2012-07-05 Thread Scott Howell
I found MenuWeather to be quite accessible. I actually like the interface and
the information it presents seems to be quite accurate. I compared the data to
that provided by Weather Bug and the stock Weather app.

 Hello Jojo
Yes, I got menuweather last night - it said it was free for 4th July so you
 need to get it quick.
A friend of mine has also got it and she likes the way it displays. It gives
a lot of information in the one app. It automatically senses your location
where you travel and you can add other locations. It gives low and high
temperatures, F. C., weather warnings, wind speed, 15 day forecasts, hourly
forecasts, etc. I personally think it is one of the best weather apps.
 Julia.

Hello Keith
Yes, Voice-over works well with Menuweather except, of course, for Maps and
Astronomy.

Re: Menuweather

2012-07-04 Thread JoJo and Clinton
Thanks Julia. I did download MenuWeather but haven't had much time to figure
the app out. Did you get a welcome screen the first time you opened it. Just
curious. The first time I opened it, I didn't get any welcome screen but the
second time I did. So I was just wondering what was going on with it.

Thanks so much.

Has anyone ever heard of MenuWeather. I found out about the app today when
I was browsing around in store news. It is free today. It sounds like it's
a pretty cool weather app, but I just wasn't sure if it would be
accessible. I might just give it a try anyway.

Thanks so much.
