Thank you. I tried your suggestions and it worked. The app is now on its own
in the place where I wanted it to be.

RE: Moving apps out of folders on the home screem.

2023-05-13 Thread Christopher Chaltain
Just move the app out of the folder to your home screen, remove all of the
other apps in your folder, so it disappears, and then move your app into the
location you want. I’d move the app right before the folder and then delete
everything in the folder, that should give you what you want.

2023-05-13 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
Just move it out of the folder the same way you move apps, open the folder and
start editing mode, select to drag the Libby app, then close the folder with a
scrub gesture and drop the Libby app wherever you want it on the home screen. I
am pretty sure once the folder is empty it goes away.

Moving apps out of folders on the home screem.

2023-05-13 Thread Barbara Stahl
Hi everyone! I had two apps in a folder on the home screen, the libby app and
the overdrive app. I kept the overdrive app until it was discontinued at the
beginning of may. I then deleted the overdrive app. I hoped that deleting
one of the apps in the folder would take the folder away, but that turned out
not to be the case. I started to remove the folder but voiceover said that the
libby app would be moved to the app library, and I want it to stay where it is
just without being in a folder. So how do I remove the folder without removing
the app from its position on the home screen?
