RE: About Phablet: was RE: My experience with iOS 12:

2018-09-23 Thread Carolyn Arnold
I made myself a pouch for the same reason. I will put my phone in a front
ppocket.

My sister and girlfriend have iPhones, wear jeans a lot, put phones in back
pockets and sometimes do, what they call, "butt calling." They can be at a ball
game or somewhere like that. My phone will ring. I'll answer and hear all this
stuff going on, only my caller is not on the line. I can't figure out how they
do that. I always keep my apps closed when I'm not using my phone and am
somewhere like a ball game or at someone's house, but even though I can't
figure how, they do it.

Best regards,

Carolyn

I think the iPhone XS Max should certainly be referred to as a phablet since it
really is too big to put in a pocket. Frankly, putting any phone in a back
pocket seems silly to me.
My wife made me a custom fit poutch with a lanyard so I can carry my phone over
my shoulder and keep it within easy reach.
I've seen then in a variety of materials for sale, but this one only has about
$3 in material.

Hello! List members:

I have been hearing a lot of comments concerning the new iOS 12 for the iPhone.
I understand a lot of people are having problems with the new update.

I upgraded my iPhone to an iPhone 7 Plus which is more like a tablet of a
phone. I guess it’s called of the Phablet.

Anyway, I wanted folks on the list to know that I myself have downloaded and
installed the iOS 12 update onto my new iPhone 7 Plus, and it works fine.

However, because it is a new device I have had to enter the password and reset
up a lot of stuff and apps on my phone.

I did do a total reset of my iPhone screens the same as they were with my
iPhone 6, so that was not the problem.

However, as I said earlier because it is a new device, and as a new device I
need to register everything as it was on the old phone. So far, I have had no
problems with the iOS 12 on my new phone.

Cheers!
