The two finger double tap is still working horribly for me. It works just as
poorly, when I use the play/pause button on my headset or the apple headphones.

Correct. The original message I sent was talking about the 2 finger
double tap to stop/start media from anywhere in iOS, not the access of
the play/stop button within the BARD Mobile app with the 1 finger
double tap.

Greetings. First off, I'm using an iPhone 5 with iOS 7.1.1 and the
BARD Mobile app. Previously there was an issue with the BARD Mobile
app when you were listneing to music or other media, then went to the
BARD app and started listneing to a book/magazine. Then, when you used
the 2 finger double tap to start/stop the BARD book again, the media
you were listening to before started. Prior to the latest iOS update
this was an annoying issue since it seemed like the BARD Mobile app
was not using the 2 finger double tap gesture. I've since noticed that
when I do the 2 finger double tap to start a BARD book after I have
been playing some music, the BARD book starts/stops correctly. Can
anyone else confirm? If this is true, then it means that we can use
this gesture with BARD materials, which is awesome.

Best regards,

Re: Noticed a fix with the BARD Mobile app and iOS 7.1.1

2014-04-30 Thread Alex Hall
I can do just the opposite and say that Bard Mobile is as bad as ever in this
area. It is still seemingly random - sometimes music plays, sometimes my book,
no matter what I do or what is open. Sorry to be the wet blanket here.

Noticed a fix with the BARD Mobile app and iOS 7.1.1

2014-04-30 Thread Wayne Merritt

Best regards,
Wayne Merritt
