Resolution of Fire TV problem. I ended up re-setting the unit to factory defaults and re-starting Alexa. I did not know the procedure for doing this, that's why I took the unit back to factory defaults. I have, since, listened to the 8/3 Main Menu which features an overview of the Toshiba Fire TV setup and all is well now.
