Yes but the alert sounds that I am referring to our ones that are built into the software and cannot be changed. These are not the text tone alerts and ringtone alerts these are the alerts for initiating dictation exiting dictation Key clicks on the screen initiating Siri those types of sounds. . Really? It sure does effect the alerts on my iPhone 5 and my iPad mini retina. Turn down the volume there, and the ringtone and alert volume is lowered.
