Re: Oh Where, Oh Where Has My Home Page Gone

2022-06-28 Thread martin nelson
This just happened to me yesterday. I had a Weather folder where I had several
other apps on my homepage and somehow the folder disappeared. On my weather
apps migrated to page 6 of my six pages. And I cannot find the original weather
app

RE: Oh Where, Oh Where Has My Home Page Gone

2022-06-26 Thread Debby
Hi Bill,

It happened to my sister one time and we called Apple accessibility to get it
back. Here's how to get it back:

Go to any app and flick up to edit and double tap to get in edit mode.

Go toward the bottom of the screen just above the dock to the page numbers and
double tap.

Look above the page numbers, and you will see a horizontal list of each page
with an indication of either "visible" or Hidden."

Find your "hidden" page and double tap. It should turn back to "visible."

Exit out of edit mode. All should be fine and dandy!

Take care and stay safe!

I have no idea what I did for this to happen, but my home page has disappeared.
Actually, I had 7 home pages, but the first one and all the apps I use
frequently apparently have been transferred to the library. I say this because
I used Siri to launch an app that I know for a certainty to be on that original
Home Page #1.

Couple of questions here:

1) How can I get my Home Page #1 back to normal display?

2) Isn’t it a bit strange that a person could hide anything in the library
without being prompted as to whether or not such an action is really desired?

I still have no idea how I manage to transfer an entire home page to the
library. SHISH!!!
