Hi, I have added descriptions to my photos in the photos app in iOS16.2 but I still only hear date and time when browsing through photos in an album. Is it possible to browse by hearing descriptions? The other way to do this is to start with Seeing AI. Open the menu, then browse photos. You'll have to give permission if you haven't. Then when you find the photo you want, double tap on it and it does the description. Then, if you flick right through that screen there is an Explore photo option that can allow you to slide your finger around the photo and have it identify objects in the photo and even read some text. Seeing AI photo description - any shortcut?
The Seeing AI application from Microsoft has a wonderful photo recognition feature which describes the photo in great detail. However to reach the menu is very cumbersome. Let me give you an example. When I get a photo, I first have to tap it and click on share, then I have to tap it again on share in the next menu; and then it comes to a long menu and I have to scroll right to the end of the menu where there is the link ”recognise with seeing AI” In all I have to tab three or four times before I can get the application to start recognising the photo.
